A healed heart

All of us women go through circumstances where we apparently feel that some people are unfair with us. All of us human beings are vulnerable to this. Perhaps there’s someone who betrays us, disappoints us, abuses us with words, or someone who constantly hurts us, which makes us feel let down and full of bitterness; this makes it hard to forgive.
But I want to tell you the first cause for which all God’s blessing for a woman can be lost is resentment. The second is when heart wounds are held on to. One says that one forgives but doesn’t forget (the reality is one hasn’t forgiven).
When a woman still has pain in her heart she cannot inherit these blessings, that’s why she must look after herself to not keep resentment. Her heart must be totally healed so that she can inherit each of God’s promises for her life. Eli lost the fruit because he didn’t protect his sons. Though he saw their faults he never disciplined them (1 Samuel 2:29). Sometimes one has a veil on one’s eyes and justifies the bad actions of a child. We must ask the Lord to impart sound judgement and that He’ll remove the veil so that we can have complete and balanced love. A love that reflects affection but that with it there will be correction and discipline, which must be exercised with love.
When there’s a spirit of overprotection, fruit is lost. In Eli’s case, although he had prophecies of blessing, all of them were invalidated and the blessing that should have rested on his house passed on to the life of Samuel. Many times, our parents or grandparents have allowed overprotection and this has brought curse to our lives. We must pray that God cancels out these arguments so that we can see great fruit in our life and ministry.
